As a born organiser I have always loved planning events and take great pride in creating perfection. Being a Wedding Planner has always been my dream, and after studying with the Institute of Professional Wedding Planners I gained the Diploma. The course has given me the essential knowledge, and experience to organize a wedding, individual to each client’s needs. It has taught me about the whole planning process, locating the perfect place for my clients wedding, timings, contingency plans, suppliers and their roles, how to delegate tasks, budgeting for the whole event and many more aspects needed for organizing a successful wedding. Before becoming a wedding planner I was working in the travel industry. I specialised and greatly enjoyed booking weddings and honeymoons in various locations abroad such as Thailand, Greece the Caribbean and America. I had to liaise with the wedding party back at home as well as the wedding planners abroad in the resorts. It was lovely to see my client’s photographs when they returned, and to know that I had helped to give them such special memories of their wedding.
